Senior PeopleSoft Technical Director
Fulltime Perm Position
Salary Range- $150K-170K + Full Benefits
Location- Fairfax, Virginia
Objectives:
- Serves as the PeopleSoft Practice Solutions Architect/Technical Director. The Solution Architect will assist the PeopleSoft Practice Director and the Business
Development team by providing solutions design/strategy and technical guidance in proposals and responses to Requests for Information, as well as supporting
project delivery in technical leadership role approximately 50% of time.
- Provides technical guidance and recommendations to existing project teams.
- Keeps abreast latest technology directly and indirectly related to PeopleSoft applications and tools, and participates in and makes contributions to professional
external and internal organizations related to the practice. Promotes knowledge sharing across the practice and within the company.
- Engages Oracle Corporation in support of partner relationship, which may, at times, include joint research/development efforts.
- Engages with functional and technical teams to manage, review and validate deliverables for content, applicability, depth and quality (Requirements, Designs, Testing
and Code Deliverables).
- Defines standards for functional and technical team execution and ensures delivery against the standards.
- Works closely and in collaboration with Project Managers to proactively identify potential or real project requirements, process or solution challenges, and provides
solutions or implements preventative measures
- Functions as a mentor to project/practice functional and technical leads and coaches their personal and career development
Challenges:

- Tailored Past Performance write-ups
- Job Requisitions
- White Papers& marketing materials including media articles
- Technical solutions, Designs, Project Plans, WBS, BOE, LOE
- Develop project standards and execute reviews
Strategic Considerations:

The Practice is currently modernizing and transforming the way SRA delivers PeopleSoft capabilities to our customers, as well as providing market growth. You will contribute to planning and management of the SRA PeopleSoft Practice strategic direction in the company and in the marketplace.

Skill Needed-
- At least 10 years' experience with PeopleSoft HR and Payroll Apps and technology
- At least 6 years' experience performing duties that include writing technical documents and specifications, analyzing complex technical issues, and/or developing
implementation plans, integration plans, and risk assessments.
- Demonstrated mastery of: PeopleSoft HCM functionality up to and including 9.1; PeopleTools up to and including 8.5; SOA and how to leverage in the context of
PeopleSoft technology; WebSphere; WebLogic; PeopleSoft Integration Broker; PeopleSoft Component Interface; and the major application components of
PeopleSoft.
- At least 3 years of experience in an Oracle environment version 9i/10g/11g
- Strong networking knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP connectivity and technologies (routing, Firewall ports).
- Working knowledge of PC hardware, application software & operating systems.
- Working knowledge of server platforms and Internet technologies
